Hello,

When going to your homepage, i get the following.

Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.nixeus.com/. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this webpage later.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

The web page is up now... maybe it was down for maintenance?

Are you an affiliate of NIXEUS ?

If so, don't do this to us again, and if you need too then give some warning, or make an announcement saying what just happened.

I'm just saying.

Totally plausible, and I truly appreciate input from 3rd party sources. But needless to say I was in need of the site at that time and she was down.

Hi FNAKFHE,

We apologize for this issue. The server side of our website was down for a few hours for maintance without our knowledge - but it was back up before we were able to make an official announcement.

Hello,

Well here we are almost 4 months later, and im trying to download your firmware file.

And it seems once again, your web page link for downloading the firmware for the nx500 is broken.

My device is stuck in boot loop, (to no surprise) becuase I attempted to do an online update to the firmware and it obviosly failed.

Now i need to redownload the firmware file to fix the boot loop issue (if thats evan posable) but i can not because all your download links are broekn on the NX500 support page.

WTF guys.. im so upset with your company,

I know i was not buying an apple product (no im not an apple fan boy) but come on, first you sell me a (at the very least) a buggy media player, then your break it with your online firmware update, and now when im trying to fix it; I have no way of downloading the firmware again.

While we are on this note, can i do a J-Tag firmware update to the chip useing an RS232 cable that i would have to make my self?

If so please give me the pinouts so i may attempt this fix, and link me to working URL of the firmware file so i may re download it.

I have downloaded the file to USB and unzipped it.

Now how can i flash the file? i am not able too boot up the nx500 because when doing an update through the menu of the nx500 (online update) it restarted after flashing/updating and its stuck in a continuous boot loop, just showing the start up animation.
